Water-absorbent cationic softener surfactant for fabrics

DIMONDS® ALM - 90 is a water - absorbent cationic softener developed for towel fabrics and other materials requiring strong rewetting. In addition to providing good hand feeling and antistatic property to the fibers, due to its structure different from that of general cationic softeners, it will not cause yellowing of the fibers.


Properties
Appearance (25ºC): Light yellow viscous liquid.
Composition: Fatty amide quaternary compound.
Ionicity: Cationic.
Active ingredient: 90 ± 1%.
Solubility: Completely soluble in cold water.
pH (10.0% solution): 5 - 6.5.

Characteristics and Uses
ALM - 90 is specially used for fibers requiring strong rewetting property.
It has no yellowing phenomenon like general cationic softeners.
This high - concentration softener is a viscous liquid by itself.  When heated to 30 - 40ºC, it becomes a liquid with fluidity, which is easy to operate.
It is easy to dilute. Just add cold water to make a uniform diluted solution.
When used in the softening process of denim, it can obtain a soft hand feeling with good water absorption.
ALM - 90 is a solvent - based softener, so it can penetrate into the denim fabric and obtain excellent softness and smoothness.
